Marina Growth Strategies (MGS), a strategic marketing and cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) consultancy founded recently by veteran technology CEO Andrew M. Miller, has been retained by one of the world’s largest IT companies to enhance and expand the client company’s North American channel strategy.

San Francisco-based MGS provides consulting services to help companies expand into new markets such as government, international (EMEA and APAC) and industry-specific vertical markets. In this engagement, MGS will be leveraging Miller’s decades of global sales and marketing experience to help its client develop an updated strategy for targeting new mobile-industry customers/channels beyond its current service-provider sales channels.

“Companies across the tech industry are eager to develop new, more effective go-to-market strategies that can expand their addressable markets and improve their competitiveness,” says Miller. “And while it’s possible for them to do that on their own, we are able to speed up the strategic analysis and planning, and help clients to avoid potential mistakes, by drawing on our team.”

MGS also helps companies transition from conventional software licensing models to cloud-based SaaS solutions that can be delivered over the internet. As demand for SaaS software grows, companies are increasingly looking for help with setting up these mission-critical applications, as well as implementing emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Miller previously served as CEO of teleconferencing companies Polycom and Tandberg, and in senior positions for several technology and telecom companies including Cisco, IPC Systems and Monster Worldwide. He has been a director on four public company boards and collaborated on two successful enterprise communications IPOs. He founded the Andrew Miller Foundation in 2017 to increase awareness and financial support for under-recognized charitable organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Marina Growth Strategies donates a portion of its revenue to the Andrew Miller Foundation.

In addition to guest lecturing at UCLA, USC and Stanford, Miller has spoken at the World Economic Forum in Davos and has given keynote addresses at Microsoft’s Worldwide Mobile Congress and the Aspen Ideas Festival.
